Air charter broker disclosure

Who we are. This site is operated by ENG Aviation Group ("ENG"), 8620 W Monroe Rd Suite 214, Houston, TX 77061, under the trade name shown in the header. For flights arranged through this site, ENG acts as an air charter broker as defined in 14 CFR Part 295. ENG is also a direct air carrier: it operates its own Citation Excel fleet under Thunderbird Airways dba ENG Aviation, FAA Part 135 certificate T4BA440Y.

What a broker does. As a broker, ENG arranges air transportation on your behalf with a direct air carrier. ENG does not operate the flight unless we expressly tell you the aircraft is from our own fleet, in which case ENG is the direct air carrier for that flight. Unless we say otherwise, ENG acts as your agent (not the carrier's agent) in arranging the flight.

Who operates your flight. The flight is operated by a direct air carrier holding a current FAA Part 135 (or Part 121) air carrier certificate, which has and retains operational control of the flight. We will tell you the carrier's name and, when known, the aircraft type and tail number before you accept a quote, and we will tell you if either changes. You may ask us at any time for the carrier's certificate details.

Liability and insurance. The carrier's liability is governed by its contract of carriage and applicable law. We will tell you the carrier's liability insurance coverage amounts on request. ENG's own liability as broker is limited to the fee we receive for arranging the flight.

Prices. Estimates on this site are market indications generated from distance and typical category rates. They are not offers. A quote becomes binding only when confirmed in writing by ENG with a named operator, and is subject to the carrier's and ENG's terms, including deposit, payment and cancellation terms stated on the quote. Federal excise tax and segment fees apply to retail domestic air transportation and are shown on the quote where ENG collects them.

Complaints. Write to charter@engaviation.com or the address above. You may also contact the U.S. Department of Transportation, Office of Aviation Consumer Protection.
